ABOUT US

Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company was founded in 1803 with 48 members serving the roughly 500 residents of Leesburg at that time. Today the Leesburg Fire Volunteer Fire Company (LVFC) membership is strong with over 150 members, serving over 50,000 residents today. Working in combination within the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue system, Leesburg has at a minimum one engine, one ladder truck and one Heavy Rescue staffed 24/7 to ensure the safety of the citizens of Leesburg and surrounding areas.

 

The combination system allows career staff to cover from 6AM – 6PM and volunteer staff from 6PM – 6AM in Leesburg.
